Today is a day that I officially decided that I am going to increase my cardio and start a more precise nutrition program. I just weighed in at 236 after breakfast and my goal is to get under 220 by the Olympia at the end of September.

The Olympia is a huge fitness event that has hundreds of thousands of people show up to Vegas every year. There is a giant fitness expo that features hundreds of vendors booths promoting everything from supplements to workout accessories to the latest and greatest workout clothes etc.

Other than the expo, there are several sporting events over the 3 day weekend that bring some of the top athletes from all over the world. There is bodybuilding, figure, weight lifting, jiu jitsu, bikini, MMA, and several other exciting events that are sure to be fun for anyone that is really into fitness.

I will be representing Optimum Nutrition (ON). ON makes the best selling protein in the world as well as a full line of many other supplements. I'll be at the huge display booth with 10 other ON athletes educating customers as will as giving out a host of free supplements and t-shirts. If you go to the Olympia, make sure you stop by and say hi!

This morning I did 25 minutes of high intensity interval training (HIIT) on the stair climber at my house followed by a 1/2 cup of oat bran micro waved with water and 1 1/2 cups of scrambled egg whites. I'm feeling good already and  looking forward to leaning out.
