While it may not feel or look like fall for us lucky ones in California, September is synonymous with the end of summer vacations and the start of the new season. Busy mornings and full days call for a quick and easy way to get a healthy dose of veggies and fruit and this month’s Recharge Recipe is just that. Inspired by Jamba Juice’s Apple and Greens smoothie, our version is delicious and nutritious (shhh…even the kids will like it!).

What you need:

  • 1 cup green vegetable juice
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • ½ cup frozen peaches
  • ½ cup sliced green apple
  • ¼ cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 leaves of kale


Blend to desired consistency and enjoy!
