I have a bad habit.  I want my toddler to eat well, so I serve a terrific dinner and then put him to bed. Then it’s MY time, when I get into all the ‘bad’ stuff – all those late night carbs that creep up on your waistline over time. 

The end result is that he has a pretty good diet, and I have a terrible one.  My new rule is that I don’t eat after he goes to bed. Sounds simple, but it’s actually tough to not eat during the one time of day I have to myself.  I know lots of ‘mommy’ friends who fall into the same trap.
