If your meal prep and dinner routine is feeling a little stale, maybe it’s time to SPICE THINGS UP! We love shopping at Trader Joe’s, and one section of the store that deserves a special shoutout is their collection of seasonings and spices.

Adding herbs and spices is a healthy and easy way to add flavor to your meals without adding calories. Plus, exploring new flavor profiles is a lot of fun! Sprinkle one of these seasoning blends onto your food of choice to tantalize tastebuds and impress your family with your culinary skills.

1. Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

The classic. The G.O.A.T. The one, the only. Not to be dramatic, but this seasoning might change your life. With all the seeds, garlic and minced onion you know and love from your favorite bagel, this seasoning adds a savory flavor punch that makes it a fan favorite.

Try it: Sprinkle on air-fried (or oven-roasted) zucchini, avocado toast, eggs, or salmon. TBH, it’s hard to find what this DOESN’T taste good on.

2. Everything But The Elote Seasoning

If you’re familiar with Elote, the summertime dish made from corn on the cob, then you’ll recognize this unique and addictive flavor profile: chile pepper, Parmesan cheese, chipotle powder, cumin, dried cilantro, sea salt.

Try it: Mix this into pizza dough, add to sheet-pan shrimp, or sprinkle on popcorn, potatoes—and corn (duh).

3. Mushroom & Company Multipurpose Umami Seasoning Blend

A little spicy, majorly savory. If you love mushrooms, you’ll love this seasoning.

Try it: Add to homemade veggie broth, sprinkle on kale chips or roasted broccoli and brussels sprouts before baking, mix it into your turkey burgers, or add to your whole grain rice, pasta or couscous.

4. Vegan Chicken-less Seasoning Salt

Chicken salt got its start in Australia, but thanks to Trader Joe’s, we in the US recently learned the secret of this umami goodness.

Try it: Rub this seasoning salt on chicken to enhance the flavor, add it to vegan soups, sprinkle it on fries or tater tots, or use it to season cauliflower steaks.

5. Cuban Style Citrusy Garlic

This bright and tangy seasoning blend combines garlic, lime oil, lime juice, onion powder, salt, red pepper, and more. If you enjoy Cuban food, these flavors will be familiar—if not, you’re in for a unique and delicious treat.

Try it: Rub onto chicken or fish, sprinkle on tofu or veggies or add it to beans and rice.
