MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

We love our members and hope to be a partner on their fitness journey for years to come! However, we understand that life happens–which is why we have made our memberships flexible and easy for members to adjust as needed with  month-to-month agreements.  

Did you know you can put your membership on hold for up to 6 months? This way you won't be subject to new enrollment fees if you decide to return and you can keep your current membership pricing.

To put your membership on hold, login to the In-Shape Family Fitness app or Member Hub and follow these steps:

  1. Click the navigation in the top left corner and select Profile
  2. Select Membership Holds and follow the prompts

 If you still would like to cancel, no problem. When you’re ready to come back, we’ll be here! 

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR IN-SHAPE FAMILY FITNESS MEMBERSHIP

The cancellation will be effective by completing one of the following actions.
Please note: only main member can cancel the membership.

1. ONLINE EXPEDITED CANCELLATION REQUEST (PREFERRED AND QUICKEST METHOD)

2. THE IN-SHAPE FAMILY FITNESS APP
You can now submit a cancellation request in the In-Shape mobile app by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Tap PROFILE
  3. Tap MANAGE MEMBERSHIP
  4. Select CANCEL MEMBERSHIP and follow the prompts

3. SENDING A LETTER VIA FIRST CLASS MAIL
Send a letter via first class mail to In-Shape Family Fitness Member Services, 6507 Pacific Ave #344, Stockton, CA 95207

What you will need to cancel:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone
  • Email address
  • Membership Number

4. IN-PERSON AT A PHYSICAL IN-SHAPE FAMILY FITNESS CLUB 

A cancellation shall be deemed submitted on the date it is received, whether via email or certified mail, the date the Cancel Me webform was completed, or, in the case of in-person cancellation at an In-Shape Family Fitness club, upon issuance of the In-Shape Family Fitness email confirming receipt of the cancellation request. Please refer to your Membership agreement for additional agreement details and terms.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING AGREEMENT

To cancel Personal Training, you must request a cancellation at least 30 days prior to the cancellation effective date. You may notify us of your cancellation either (1) via email to cancelmypt@inshape.com, (2) via first class mail to In-Shape Family Fitness Member Services, 6507 Pacific Ave #344, Stockton, CA 95207 (to insure we receive your notice, we recommend using certified mail return-receipt requested), or (3) in-person at a physical In-Shape Family Fitness location. 

A cancellation request shall be deemed submitted on the date it is received, whether via email or first-class mail, or, in the case of in-person cancellation at an In-Shape location, upon issuance of the ISPT email confirming receipt of the cancellation request.
